MagFlux Q

MagFlux® Q is used in all types of wastewater installations. The short installation length and corrosion-free construction means that MagFlux® Q is an optimal solution for flow measurement in pumping stations.

In particular, since it measures flow in both directions, the pumping of wastewater from district to district can be logged and billed.

In networks, MagFlux® Q can easily be connected to other MJK devices, including Mµ Connect. Communication is via RS485 ModBus.

MagFlux® Q is the optimal solution for eliminating water loss. Especially because the ultralight construction makes it easy to install a MagFlux® Q in, for example, a measuring well.

MagFlux® Q measures with high accuracy at flow down to 0.1 m/s. When measuring night flow, this makes it one of the best in the industry for eliminating water loss.

The measuring unit is corrosion-free and the converter can be IP68 secured before delivery or after installation. In addition, MagFlux® Q can be connected to other MJK MagFlux® devices, and the flowmeter communicates via 4-20 mA, RS-485 or ModBus.

The unit has been developed for and tested by leading Danish aquaculture applications. So MagFlux® Q is the optimal solution if you have a need for high precision measuring of salt water (and even heated salt water).

MagFlux® Q is constructed in tough and corrosion-free ABS plastic, where the four built-in Hastelloy C electrodes provide optimal measurements all the way down to 0.1 m/s.

You get accurate measurements even at very low installation lengths. This means you can use MagFlux® Q in virtually any application, including shipping.

With regards to accuracy, MagFlux® Q measures better than +/- 0.25% and is specially developed to work in rugged applications. With solid ABS housing and built-in Hastelloy C electrodes, neither salt water, heated salt water nor media with corrosive content will cause you problems.

The reinforced electromagnetic measuring field means accurate measurements, even at very short installation lengths down to 1: 1 of the pipe diameter. Thus, with this flowmeter, you are guaranteed high precision, long life and credible documentation.
