Operation takes place on a waterproof touch panel, and emphasis is placed on high reliability. This is also the reason why the sampler is waterproof (IP 67) - including the fact that all electronics, valves, etc. are mounted inside the cabinet while all wet parts to be cleaned are easily accessible on the outside.

MJK rainAhead is a modern precision rain sampler for measuring rainfall and intensity. The rain sampler is mounted on a stand and collects rain in the funnel, which directs the water to the rainAhead measuring system. The rain sampler is factory calibrated to 0.2 mm of rain per. pulse. The unique self-emptying tilting cup is patented globally, making rainAhead one of the most accurate rain samplers on the market.
